After accidentally killing julio torrez, tom sat in shock at the group's camp site. He was convinced that with his criminal record, officers would try to charge him with murder. Tom had a string of offences listed against his name, most of which were petty and related to robbery. When asked why they hadn't come forward sooner, tom admitted that he was initially reluctant to go to the police due to the previous runnings he'd had with the law.
