The Differences Between Goodfellas and the Irishman
In many ways, this is such a classic Scorsese crime film in the mold of something like Goodfellas where again, this is fundamental to the story. Robert De Niro is essentially like the capo or the boss. Leonardo DiCaprio's character here, who was kind of in the Ray Liotta role, if you will, he's not particularly charismatic. He's very dumb. And it's actually like a worm.
