Glider Pilots Combat Training
It was the first all officer combat unit in the war, it was glider pilots in it. They were flying right through fire that the Germans had laid up a curtain of artillery fire and that happened on more than one occasion. The lighter pilots were able to stop their retreat, many, many casualties and I believe 50 or 60 German prisoners were taken. So they're only dedicated combat assignment in the war was extremely successful.
