The Clone Wars: Kai Walker
Jedi Master Shakti was to be killed by Anakin during the assault on the Jedi Temple. In the later edit, she just doesn't appear to have died at all on screen. The deleted scene says that in the first cut, it was Grievous and in the later cut, It was Anakin. "I think they probably made a decent call there," said director George Lucas.
