They then found that support which they had hoped for from their fellow princes was sadly lacking. Out gunned and outnumbered, they were horribly and completely and comprehensively defeated at the battle of white mountain in 16 20. In comprehensive revenge, the native nobility were completely suppressed and replaced by a catholic nobility. And conversion started.
