Redshift Streaming Ingestion - One of Those Things I'm Looking Forward to Doing
Redshift is now able to take data from Amazon S3 and automatically load it into Redshift. It also has a materialized view that can be used as a staging environment, so you can get the data in there without having to do any sort of work with Kinesis or Firehost. That's another one of those things they're trying to make more painless for users.
