The New York Times seems to be a quick tidy way of letting the military establishment decide how things are going to be pitched um which is concerning. I remember John Stewart you know back in the 2010s he's like listen these people are just our neighbors right like we say the government it's just like Joe my next door neighbor right and to some extent that's true but on the other hand there are some really entrenched interests who can buy up huge portions of journalism because they're run by finance or whatnot. The internet culture has changed so much from conspiracy theory kind of stuff initially now we're like wow many of the things you just took for granted, says Dariush Vatanka.
