Elder Packer says most families try very hard, but some when burdened with problems of health and finance simply become exhausted. They do not see that they are moving from the one best source of light and truth of help with their family into the shadows where danger and heartbreak await. The resolution of this problem between the Gentiles and the Jews in the book of Acts gives our present generation a very informative model as to how to react when revelation confronts tradition and longstanding custom.
