The Watchers in the Hebrew Bible

In the Hebrew Bible, one of them called a watcher represents the spiritual beings that God delegated to rule on his behalf over the heavens. The name has very creepy connotations in kind of modern English. This is the only time that this word is used to describe these creatures in the Hebrew Bible. In post-biblical literature, Jewish literature, they stop calling sons of God or angels and use anglas instead. That's a later blurring of an original distinction.
