Hi Ku in Chinese Poems

i was struck by the amount of hi ku in african american poetry. One transpiration reminds me of what has transpired, but also inspiration. I love this idea that a hiku is like this slow, but essential unfolding of an experience and then it stops. So hyku is very much a shadow behind victors.
