The Love of Postcards
A curator at the henry ford, you also deal with the collect on of them. How many postcards do you think you have in the collections here? A few thousand. They're all nicely organized by topic, usually state. The main one is all indexed in our computer. So we can look up any topic, or any state, or any year and find those postcards,. Then just dig them out and look at them. There are pictures of most of them as well. And then there's a whole another collection that i found more recently which was kind of like this papery time capsule into postcards past. I don't know if they had to wear gloves to touch
