Is the Computer a Bad Model for the Brain?

We sometimes use the computer as the kind of metaphor or model for thinking about the brain. That's not... I don't think that leads to errors, but we have to keep Heisenberg's principle in mind. What we find in science is not nature itself, but what nature reveals to us in the framework of the method we use. The only computation in that mix is the computational concepts that we apply to the brain.
