The Importance of Dialogue in Research Ethics

There are some fundamental structural issues around how ethics is built into research that pose some barriers to a more relational model of research ethics. I think if we are embracing a huge range of methods and health service research, you know, involves all sorts of people not just people who do randomized controlled trials. And if we're going to do that, then I think we need to be able to think of other ways and it's not a one-size-fits-all.
