This is exciting unlike OpenAI and Google they do promise to release they already have released I believe the data and the training code. They hopefully will release some model weights if meta kind of signs off on it so from an academia perspective we've already touched on so many questions that need to be explored. If you have a GPT-3 level system academia now could conceivably actually study these things and that is good yeah.
