Is It Possible to Task a Landset Satellite?
Lamsat collects about 700, forty scenes of imagery per day. Each image might be a couple of gig abites. We do it all the time. There is a command upload. It tells the satellite which images it should acquire. The other type of tasking that we do sometimes is we have the capability to roll the satellite,. So generally the satellite is looking down and just getting the images that it's flying over. But we can roll it as it's doing its orbit and get images to either side if we want to.
