King Charles III was crowned on Saturday to great fanfare and much celebration. Despite some rainy skies, it provided all the pomp and circumstance that an anglophile like me could possibly wish for. Since the mid-1800s, British monarchs have usually used the gold state coach to arrive at Westminster Abbey. But after the ceremony, the newly crowned King Charles and Queen Camilla rode back to Buckingham Palace in that gold state coach.
