CHAPTER

Is Your Brain Like Underestimating How Much Other People Like You?

The world is actually safer than we think because of our negativity bias yeah. Research on something called the liking gap when strangers interact and predict how like they are by the other person they underestimate how like they were. The more critical they are of themselves the more pronounced this under estimation is so we think our mean thoughts are the truth when in fact they really distort the truth.
