The Future of Manufacturing in the Southwest

In order to do manufacturing of electronics, you need a differentiated workforce with a lot of different price points. This is one of the reasons that East Asia has done so well in this space for decades. The only place in North America we have that sort of variation is in the US-Mexico border. For the Southwest, that's a good selling point if you can keep the water flowing.
