The Paranoid Position and the Depressed Position

When I wrote this, I got these objections. People couldn't read the gray in it. My language was strong. So because it wasn't therapy, I was being a little bit provocative and I could understand how it could provoke the defense you see. One of the objections was only narcissists do this, full-blown narcissists. We like to create what I know about this is we like to create a safe distance. The badness must be out there in the other.
