Gambia's Tourism Sector Is Recovering After the COVID-19 Lockdown
Gambia and World Bank agree a $68 million grant last year to help revive the country's tourism sector. Tourism contribute 20% to the Gambia's GDP, and also employs so many people directly or indirectly. The number of visitors to the smallest Africa nation jumped by 56% in 2022.
