State Senator Shea Shelnut introduced the legislation his colleagues at the beginning of this year. He decided to turn trans teens into a locker room joke. The American Medical Association suggested would likely increase the risk of suicides and hurt trans kids. Other leading medical organizations have come out against this kind of legislation too, including the American Academy for Pediatrics.
