The Kindi Circle and Al-Amari

The Kindi Circle's version of Proclas brought it into line with the neoplatonic system. In Al-Amari's hands, the Islamization is made yet more explicit. Abu Ali Miskawe was one of the best-read scholars of the era. He wrote philosophical works on ethics and metaphysics that combined Aristotelian texts in a way fully compatible with his law.
