When I took over as the manager in 1990 our average tenure on all employees was two and a half years. When I left there in 2011 the average tenure on our full-time employees was 11 years. One of the biggest things at SageBic managing people is understanding that other people's have the same basic desires in a job that I would. That probably, that foundation and gaining the knowledge and understanding human nature in place were big benefits to my career.
