How often does PD affect people of lower income or, you know, people of ethnic or racial minority backgrounds compared to those of higher SES or majority cultures? I don't know the answer to that. What I will say is that in my own personal experience, and I haven't looked at the literature about this, is that those groups tend to get to move into sort of specialist later. And once they do get to a movement sort of specialist, there can be a lot of problems,. especially in lower income populations or populations that aren't primarily English speaking with health literacy.
