I think also the thing that was really revelatory to me in addition to the different type of sound and learning specific lyrical things from it was the anger. I understood that there was this emotion that as a kid, you definitely never see in real life or in pop culture. And responding to that and being like, Oh, I didn't know that you could do this. That people would find it like interesting and real and maybe even entertaining.
