Is the ASK Trial a Good Idea?
The ASK trial definitively answered that these drugs, low progression of kidney disease in African Americans. There's no echo points there. Black patients should be getting these drugs. Laudie agrees with that, I think, but the nice guidelines don't see that. So has that, again, I don't want to digress this completely, derail this conversation completely. Is that changing now the nice guidelines? That's a deep and profound question that I don't know the answer to. We shall see whether it does or not.
