I think act structures is programmed into our brains for what to expect in a story. In the illuminatus books, it's like all conspiracy are simultaneously true,. So you'll have things where you're like, I thought this wasn't all of these things coexist at the same time. And it's not really about the plot. It's almost just about being in that place in the hilarity of story and do stories matter?
