"I was raised in this atmosphere where from the earliest age, I was encouraged to regard Christ as my savior," she says. "The only time I feel like I audibly heard the voice of God was telling me to go to library school." After a few years teaching online for various schools, including her alma mater, Armstrong decided to give up and take over Christian history Institute. She became ordained a priest in 2016.
