Pete and the Murder of Roberto

When paul moore was arrested and charged with the murder of roberto wallen, his peter began to experience that particular phenomenon quite personally. Around town, people still seemed to believe that pete was the murderer. But human nature is a funny thing. Suspicion, once imbedded, is remarkably resistant to actual evidence and might disprove it. And anybody that has anything bad to say about pete never really took the time to get to know him, because he's a good, loving person with a huge heart.
