What Are Angels?
There isn't one easy definition of angels that cuts across time and all Jewish cultures But I would say that based on my analysis angels were conceptualized as these powerful intermediary beings. For ancient Jews angels were really independent of the demonic realm and had a lot of work to do not just a dealing with Demons so angels had abodes in the heavens, but they also had obligations here on earth.
