The Story of a Samurai Waiting for the Rain to Stop
The servant of a samurai stood under Rashomon, a big gate. He was waiting for the rain to stop when he saw something moving above him. The man had two choices: remain honest or become a thief. One option would mean he would die because he had no food. His dead body would be dropped at this very gate. At night, the gate was so creepy that nobody went inside.
