You said the anchor struck you with such force on your nose, destroyed your nose. But i gather that that was actually a sort of advantagei y right. Might my nose saved me? Yes. My surgeon described it as that my nose had acted like an air bag. It shattered my nose and shattered my eye orbits and shattered my forehead. If the boat had hit me, an inch above, it would have gone through my brain. An inch below, it would has gone throuh my mouth. Or an inch either side
