Soar - The Soar Architecture

The original SOAR, the way I think about it still, and the way it was sort of in tall, I left the project in the late 90s. It's fairly simple conceptually. There's a single long-term memory, consisting of rules. And then there's a working memory, which is short-term memory. So that's a core part of the memory, what we call the knowledge cycle,. That's happening in small numbers of milliseconds in human time. Outside of that is the cognitive cycle - you say in humans is running in approximately 50 milliseconds.
