Go West: A Girly Sounds Hit

I've always been annoyed that this album didn't get the 25th anniversary treatment that Guy Ville did because I think it deserves it. The fact that she wrote go west for girly sound having never written a song made an album had the experience of being a musician blows me away. There's so many interesting mechanisms used in the song like even just the like singing you know hi on the first line of each verse and then going into normal is so compelling. It does sort of feel like a turning point of being a major brilliant lyricist but like I'm not looking forward to missing you but I must have something better to do yeah.
