The team was 30 people at its peak and had already been downsized to 7 people in October. The remaining employees were told in October that basically the company wants to move swiftly, get these AI models into the customer's hands at a very high speed. And so this now defunct team apparently also was looking into the risks posed by Microsoft's adoption of OpenAI in its products.
