The Mystery of Baile Whales

I was taken by what you shared about the mystery of baile whales, including a tenth century russian poem that concluded that the these whales fed on heavenly fragrances. What are we to make of that? Ye, whales were pretty mysterious creatures. They spined 99 % of their life under water. Humans really only got to know them when they were washed up on shore or once they'd been harpooned. And so that, you know, whales lent themselves to a lot of mystery. One of interesting things that i found research in this book is the really important work that the soviet union did,. and kind of unravelling some of these mysteries.
