The Relationship Between Mathematics and Christianity
The reason the mathematics works so well is because the world is actually literally built out of mathematics. I think we would then be surprised that we actually have as much elegance as we do. And a lot of modern mathematics was developed by Muslims. So maybe Islam might be a little bit more tricky, but it depends how you read those texts and maybe only read that as maybe God only does this to the wicked or something.
