How to Get a Boss to Like You at a Cocktail Party

People tend to be nervous about sort of not having anyone talk to. Having someone with you, especially if it's a boss, is that they can tout your accomplishments. Your maglers also say there's a thing called the availability huristic. This is a cognitive, a psychology principle that essentially, your brain kind of works like google. It does not when you think about something, you know, your brain does not immediately come up with the most correct answer. The next time they'll see it, they'll vaguely remember having seen it before.
