The film is about the life of alex crockett, an African-American artist and photographer. Crockett died in 2009 after being shot by his own cameraman while he was on assignment in New York's Greenwich Village. The documentary features interviews with people who were there when they went into the bohemian grove to make their photographs. It also includes clips from early parts ofcrockett's career that show him as more than one person at once.
