The Newgate Prison
The six pirates were taken to newgate prison in london. Newgate was not the mediaeval dungeon of so many horrific myths. You slept on straw that, if you were lucky, t was only infested with fleas. The food was disgusting and the water was less than clean. Oddly though, the six pirates who were held there probably got better treatment than any of the other prisoners. They got better food and better portions, and even probably some decent medical treatment.
