The Christian God Is the Jewish God

Schindler writes the church was never meant to be one institution among others lying next to the world with all of its mundane business occupying itself only with the business of the next world. And again, he is saying the church was meant to be about the business of this world to and not just sequestered off in one corner where you do this if you want to on a Sunday. They were too much but the Christian God is the Jewish God from Schindler's perspective, who has intervened in history in Jesus. Right, that's the step forward from the Christian point of view.
