Rats on the Border in Alberta?
Alberta set up a buffer zone 200 miles wide, across heentirety of the northern province. Employed hundreds of trappers and hunters to kill all wild life that was coming southward. Between 19 52 and 56, at minimum, 56 thousand foxes were killed. In two thousand four they had no rats at all. The eastern front, it's pretty quiet. It's now that there are no rats. They still have big infestations sometimes, and they're concerned about cities. But phil merrill, who ran the programme for years, thinks they're over the hump but i'll knock wood on his behalf.
