CRISPR and Evolution: Neil Schubert and Jennifer Doudna

Neil Schubert is a molecular biologist who developed the gene editing technology CRISPR. In graduate school, he became obsessed with studying embryos under the microscope. He says there's both an aesthetic joy in seeing this body emerge from this amorphous mass of the early embryo.
