The Importance of Testing and Evaluating Non Deterministic Outcomes
Can you in good conscience use an AI system as the basis for a targeting decision or some other form of human made decision? I guess this fundamentally comes down to how do you test and evaluate non deterministic outcomes? And the jury's still somewhat out. We will be holding it to a very, very high standard and going back to the norms of international humanitarian law. Article 36 checks, which we do for weapons now is the type of environment I fully expect us to employ with any kind of affect AI system with an effector in that way. So would you expect the collaborators, the industry partners that you work with to also abide by those international norms?
