The Fear of the SkyNet

The Terminator scenario is probably the scariest one, given how cold and murderous Terminator is. I don't lose any sleep over it, but I do see pathways that can lead to dangerous circumstances like the SkyNet or even worse. There are greater fears that we contemplate and we try to mitigate in our research. In an AI, an autonomous decision-making actuator being able to model human behavior could be a real possibility.
