The Reasons Why So Many Are No More Than Near Christians
Many set out with false notions of religion, yet they don't know what Christianity is. Multitudes there are and have been who, though awakened by a sense of the divine life, have tasted and felt the powers of the world to come. A second reason that may be assigned why so many are no more than almost Christians is a terrific fear of man. No marvel that so many take up the outward appearance when they are quite strangers to the power of godliness.
