Dedicating Your Life to Poetry

I'm staring at this tree right now. Its right outside my window a. It's probably, you know, over 75 years old. And if i look really closely, underneath all those leaves and on one branch is a squirrel, and his little tail is shaking too. I do think i can be in my mind a lot, and i can get lost up there. And i love my mind. But the work of poems for me, is always about bringing me back into this world. Regardless of whether it's read or ever done, or any of those things, i think making it isreally important somehow to my body and my mind and my heart, my blood olthing.
