The Importance of Female Apostles in the Church
The first Timothy 3 issue is this issue of, it does appear on the face of it to suggest that they are talking about men and having only one wife. It seems to me that what's going on then is an assumption that in the church at the moment they are mostly male leaders. However, the clear signs are in Romans 16, particularly a well-known passage, that there are apostles in the church who are female.
