Ron DeSantis is running for governor of Florida, but his campaign isn't doing it all. He's trying to court the MAGA base and pull away some votes from Donald Trump. The only thing he's offered as to why he's better than Trump is that he doesn't think Trump can win. That would have been a bigger grander plan.
