Plastic Pollution - A Challenge for the Ocean
Professor bethany carney almroth of the university of gofenburg talks to jessica brown about her research into marine pollution. She and her colleagues believe the pollution planetary boundary has been breached in the ocean. They are trying to understand how human activities are changing the planet. How far can we push things? Are we at risk of a tipping point? A number of the boundaries have been identified as having been transgressed absolutely, she says.
